The Clear Vision Story
In 2005, our founder Tony set out with a simple vision – to offer reliable, high-quality window cleaning in and around his hometown of Romsey. With just a ladder, a bucket of soapy water, a squeegee, and a scrim, he began knocking on doors and winning over customers one home at a time. Many of those original clients are still with us today – nearly 20 years later – and their loyalty is a testament to the service we provide.
Clear Vision has grown significantly since those early days. We’re now a proud family-run business with 13 vehicles, a dedicated team of 8 full-time window cleaners, and a strong customer service hub led by “Mrs Clear Vision” at our headquarters. We cover the entire Southampton area and its surroundings – including Winchester, Fareham, Gosport, Romsey, and the New Forest.
A Family Legacy of Excellence
What many people don’t know is that our commercial cleaning roots go even deeper. In 1977, Tony’s father founded a commercial cleaning business that has since been seamlessly integrated into Clear Vision. Today, we offer a full suite of cleaning services for both residential and commercial clients – making us your one-stop shop for everything related to property cleaning.
Modern Tools for a Cleaner Tomorrow
As our window cleaning business expanded, we recognised the need for safer and more efficient cleaning methods. In 2007, we invested in the Reach & Wash system – a water-fed pole method that allows us to clean not only your windowpanes, but also the frames and sills – all included in your scheduled clean.
While we still offer traditional window cleaning on request, most of our customers prefer this modern method. It’s safer, more environmentally friendly, and avoids issues like ladder marks on your lawn or awkward access across your roof.
Our purified water system ensures a sparkling finish every time. At Clear Vision HQ, regular tap water is processed through advanced reverse osmosis filtration and stored in a 5,000-litre tank. Our vehicles are equipped with the latest water-heating technology, allowing us to tackle even the toughest grime with ease. We leave windows wet to dry naturally, delivering spotless, streak-free results. If you’re ever less than satisfied, let us know within 48 hours and we’ll return to clean again at no extra cost – that’s our promise.
More Than Just Windows
In 2009, we introduced the SkyVac gutter vacuum system – a powerful, high-reach tool that lets us clear gutters safely from the ground, up to 48 feet high. We’ve since expanded this part of our business with 7 units, HD cameras, and even drones to ensure thorough inspections and cleaning.
